Sick Days 2

when was the last time you actually took a sick day off of work when you were sick. Most people I know will go to work half-dead just so they can save there sick time for something else.

I took probably four days off during the summer because I had to go into hospital for surgery. When I came home, I took it easy and worked from home for a few days-not more than an hour a day. I started back at day eight, so yes I used my sick time for real sickness.

I've always used my sick time for being actually sick. I have too high a guilt complex, I think, but I can't take time off just because I feel like it. I feel that it would be unfair to my workmates who have to pick up my slack.

I guess its safe to talk about this here, its no myspace, you always hear about employers finding people on there. No, I will die at work before I take a day off because I am sick, I may take a day of because I am not feeling well due to all the work I have done recently.
