Question

Do You Like Your Job?

Right, so I know lots of us have very varied jobs and careers, but I'm wondering how many of us actually enjoy what we're doing so I've set up a little poll. Feel free to vote and also post in the thread if you wanna elaborate a bit more and tell us what you do etc!

I'm a self employed freelance writer/web services person so I really enjoy my job most of the time. The plus sides are that you get to keep set hours, the down sides are that you have to constantly send invoices, chase clients for money and strictly manage your time. It works pefectly for me at the moment though having a young child.

What do the rest of you do? And do you like your job, vote now!

I'm QA/QS for a largish factory-based company. Whereas in most departments you stay in your own little dept, I go through the whole site, which I think is good. Makes life much more interesting.

I feel very lucky to still have a job at the moment!

I love my job and wouldn't choose any other, but I really do think that I'm over-worked and under-paid. In that last week, I did 79 hours including night time "on-call" and overtime due to staff shortages. The Government has put so much money into the NHS, but the managers of the hospitals have wasted it on things we don't need

I currently work at an after school club as an assistant. It was meant to just be a way of earning money while I decided what I wanted to do with my life after dropping out of uni, but I love it so much and am now studying for my NVQ 2 in Childcare at college =)

no, I do not like my job, and I do not plan on keeping it. I am only fifteen, and I plan on getting a change in it. I am a dishwasher for a local resturant and may I tell you it is not fun and it is boring and hard. I am looking to get into college when I finish high school so I could either become a detective, police officer, scientist, writer or actress. I just need to keep this job to earn money for the family.
