What do you think about somebody wearing a dress or a skirt with a pair of jeans underneath?

I think it's actually a cute way to dress, but I know that there are a lot of people that think it looks ridiculous. I like to wear my polka dotted dress with a pair of jeans, I guess it makes me feel like I'm dressing more casual than formal.

I think that it can look tacky if it's not with the right outfit. I think that the colors need to coordinate no matter what, and the dress needs to be a certain length. It depends on how you wear it, just like anything else!!

The dress would look better if it is short and as Nee Chan says, it compliment the pants.

I do think though that just as how big designer can design some way out thing and decide that this is what is wearing this summer, people can create and wear their own styles if they are really confident about themselves,

Wearing a skirt and pants at the same time can work...but it totally depends on the color scheme and pattern (if any) that is on either one of them.

I think the look would be cute if both garments were the same color, but different shades, for instance. Some different colors might work, depending on what they are. Turquoise and brown would be a good combination. A nice pattern would be even better.

You totally wouldn't catch me wearing that outfit on a hot summer's day though. Ick!

I don't think it looks tacky if both the pants and the dress are in good shape and not all torn apart. I can't tell you how many times I see girls wearing jeans that look so torn up that they are hardly worth wearing at all, with a dress on top. I think that they should at least be nice.

I wore white jeans under a mini skirt (black and white) on my birthday some days ago, I looked awesome!!
