Nail care

I have one really bad habit that I can't seem to break and that is that I bite my fingernails. I have tried the nail polishes that you can put on and taste bad but it doesn't help much. It wears off after a while and can be washed off when you wash your hands. I would love to have pretty nails so I would be happy to try any suggestions you might have.

Really you just have to take a pride in your nails! Have the determination and the resolve to not bite them any more.

Perhaps some nice polishes, make them look nice so that you don't want to ruin the effect.

I have tried putting polish on and filing them as nice as I can. This seems to stop me for a few days but I'm afraid my determination wanes very quickly. Much of the time I don't even realize that I'm doing it until I find myself with ragged nails again.

Wear false nails on top of your own. Get them long enough that nibbling won't hurt the nail underneath. The plastic ones don't feel the same when you bite them, the satisfaction isn't there. It can really help kick the habit.
