Goodwill

Does anybody here take their old clothes to the goodwill?

I have always done this instead of throwing them out and you can also get a tax break, so I would check it out if you have not already.

Always! I usually take my clothes to starbucks on the way home from work. They have people who pick up clothes for womens refuge and I get to recharge the old batteries with a hot choc at the same time

Clothes, toys (well cleaned before hand), and anything else I can think of. Sometimes the GW ends up helping to donate things to families that are trying to get back on their feet so clothes are just one of the ways you can help out. I dig through stuff at least 4x/year and take things down (most times in a very large load).

I take all of our used and no longer needed items to Goodwill. It's a great place to shop too. I have found so many great deals in there for myself. Great namebrand stuff too.

We've got a big bunch of stuff we are adding to right now that we are about to take in. I see no point in throwing stuff out when someone else might get some use from it.
