At age 30, I still get the occaisonal break out, typically around that "time of the month" The problem I have always had is that the store products really dry out my skin. My little sister uses ProActive, and it works amazing on her. Her acne was HORRIBLE... like you see in ads but don't think is real. And her skin is softer, smoother, and nearly clear. It also helped her to exfoliate the damage that acne can cause (the "craters" they leave behind on your skin) You might want to give it a try. Good Luck!

My remedy lies in drinking water. Pure and simple. Whenever I have too much sweets and juices and stuff like that, I break out. So I try to drink my quota of water for the day.

The only thing I use to clean my face other than a mild soap and water is alcohol. Try it. After you wash your face take a cotton pad and pour a little alcohol on it and wipe your face. You will probably see a little dirt and oil that you never knew was there.

This regimen has kept my face clear since I started using it at age thirteen.

Never tried the alcohol idea... make sense though. That's what most hospitals use to clean their counters and such. I bet you have to be very careful around your eyes though... ooooooo just thinking about the burn it would cause if you got it in your eye! OUCH!

I have someone very close who uses alcohol on a regular basis and I know that it works, I do worry about the skin drying out too much though.

God I hate acne! Hang in there Nee-Chan. I've been out of high school for 8-9yrs now and I'm only just growing out of my acne. The only thing I changed was my was my water intake and better, healthier food? No more gross greasy cafeteria food!!! Try the new Neutrogena power cleanser. It really made my skin feel so smooth and super soft... like baby's butt smooth!! Just remember to wash your hands before you cleanse, otherwise you'll be working dirt back into your skin and leave it on for about a minute, cleanser act like mops so you got to give it time to seep in. I don't know if this helps? I kinda rambled and went off on a tangent

yesterday i went to a doctor.i was afraid but at last gave up(lol).so he wrote me sum lotions n soap to buy.i dont know if it will work or not.but he told me that its just a temporary.not permanent treatment so now im sad bout temporary.datswhy i didnt want to go.but wot to do? want to get clear face as before.i can cover it when i do makeup.nobody can notice but when without makeup i hate to see my face in the mirror.he told me they r very less,dont touch them n drink loadz n loadz water n fresh fruts n no fats...any way mom says to me no need for tension they will go away themselves.i agree wiv u bout cleanser but i think it will work for a clear face.not my very sensitive skin.

heelloo.
i have bad acne too.
don't worry, it will eventually go off.
You can try visiting the doctor and get Benzoyl peroxide {spelling?}
It helps but it is very strong.
Personally, nothing works instantly to get rid of pimples.
Just keep your hair away from your face and don't touch your face (:
Gd luck, remain positive about them (:
