The Food Pyramid

How does your diet compare to what the food pyramid suggests? What do you eat the most of, and what would you like to change about your diet?

I know that I eat too many sweets, and definitely not enough fruits and vegetables.

I try to eat pretty healthy. Its funny because they revised the food pyramid a few years ago didn't they? I try to eat alot of fish, fresh fruit and vegetables. I find myself reading the ingredients alot more than i used to in order to stay away from hydrogenated and interesterified oils. I cook with olive oil only. So I have taken some steps to eat healthy..however i still love ice cream and other sweets! Haha.

I always try to follow the food pyramid...when I remember to anyways. I know that the things I eat the least of would definitely be the dairy and fruit section. It's not that I don't like those things...it's just that warm food with plenty of meat and carbs tends to taste better. That and I grew in a household that doesn't drink a lot of milk or eat a lot of cheese unless reminded to.

I definitely don't get enough dairy, and that's mainly because I'm not a fan of either milk or cheese. That worries me a lot though for when I get older, I don't want my bones to be weak!

I eat more vegetables than the food pyramid recommends. And less meat. When I do eat meat its usually fish. Fish is a weakness for me I guess cause I like it fried.

I do try to eat as healthy as possible but it doesn't always work, sometimes I have the wrong foods at my finger tips and is just too lazy to get the healthy ones.

lol same except i eat Fruit and Veggatables more then anything else that i eat. (I do not eat meat)

I use to be a really good eater, only because I previously worked at a weight loss clinic. Once I left there I rediscovered all the naughty things I ate when I was in school!. Im regretting it now and am doing something about it as we speak.

Just yesterday my mum bought me nuggets (Forgetting that i'm a vegetarian) and i put it in my mouth and i recgonise the taste. I spat it out and threw it in the bin! i swear i was going to throw up!!!
