How has motherhood changed you?

I was always a person who was responsible but motherhood has really increased that, I find that I am much more organized because of the many things that needs to be done.

Yes, it has, in both positive and negative ways. I will agree I have become more responsible, on the down side initially, I stopped taking care of myself because there was just so much hours in a day. But I am learning how to just take time for myself.

Definitely, motherhood changes you - forever. But I mean that in a positive way. Of course, it makes all the difference if you are a mother by choice rather than well, by accident! By choice means you are usually more prepared for the sacrifices you have to make - although it doesn't make it any easier! Becoming a mom by accident just means you have less time to adapt but it can be done as there are lot of wonderful 'surprised' moms out there

I've been a mom for a long time and it's the best and most rewarding 'job' I ever had. Now my kids are grown, I'm still a mom and will be till the day I die.

Motherhood is really amazing. We start to live and take care of another life. Our life always revolves around our children. Not forgetting to mentions, the amount of time you sleep is reduced at least 50% but at the end of the day, you feel happy despite of tiredness and a long day!

Only 50 per cent?

I remember when I had my first child, I don't think I slept for 12 months! Up and down the stairs I went to tend to this little mite who cried and cried and cried. So small was he. What could it be? He couldn't tell me. Eventually, of course, he learned to sleep .... but by then, so used was I to the sound of his cry, that first little snuffle in his sleep that I never, ever slept the sleep of my youth again!

I would say, becoming a mother changes almost everything. It feels like the most perilous and primal job I will ever have You live for your little ones for they are your whole world! In short, the challenge has grown so much bigger!

well to be honest i have a three and a half old month son and it hasn't changed anything. I'm used to responsibility as i moved out when i was 16 and got my own place. im very independent and used to rushing about. I do get lack of sleep sometimes but i am used to that before i had him and also my man helps me out taking it in turns looking after him.

My life has changed as i am now a mum, which i love him to pieces but in general my life is the same but better as i have a wonderful baby.. :-)

Wow, Ms Kerry, You are one of the few who has not been affected. I remember what it felt like to totally lack sleep. I felt like a zombie going through the day.

My, how has motherhood changed me? Let me count the ways...? More grey hairs, more wrinkles, I can do at least 6 things all at once, and I'm overly sensitive - the hairs on the back of my neck stand up when the house gets too quiet. I'm more confident as I know that I can do all things - I'm a MOTHER.
