Help Breast Cancer Charities and Be Part Of A Work Of Art!

Hi Girls,

I checked with Becky that it was okay to post this, so:

My friend Wendy is a conceptual artist who is doing an art installation for a 'celebration of woman' exhibition in the USA. The proceeds are going towards women's charities, like Breast Cancer Awareness, Shelter For Abused Women, etc.

It's a collage of thousands of pictures and the overall image is going to be covering one whole wall of the gallery, and will be of a baby in the womb. The image is to be made up of pictures of women's bellies/navels and she'll colourise each one to make up the overall image. The link is the whole idea of the umbilical connection between mother and child.

You don't have to be pregnant to contribute!

She is looking for contributions from women all over the world - any age between 16 and 100 - pregnant or not. So, anyone who wants to be a part of it can email pictures to her. She'll credit everyone who contributes by first name, State/County and Country, so anonymity is preserved and your face won't be shown in the collage as images will be cropped. She doesn't want pictures of your boobs or your 'Lady Bits' LOL

It's going to take her quite a while, so people have plenty of time to consider it/contribute and she really does need thousands of pictures from all over the world.

So, if you want to be part of a work of art and at the same time, help other women less fortunate than yourself, please think about it. I'll be contributing and it would be really cool if some of you girls would consider it too!

But I am not pregnent nor I can take pregnent lady's belly photograph while I'll stroll around the mall LOL.

What I suggest you is,Go to deviantart.com .It's an art site where thousands of arts are contributed.

Go and search for it in there! I know there will be thousands of users who will help you!

Thanks Innocent Demon, but no one needs to be pregnant to do it. Just a couple of tummy snapshots from any women, pregnant or not.
Wendy can't take pictures from Deviant Art - they're mostly copyright anyway - they have to be original and exclusive, so if any members do want to join in with this, all you need to do is contact me and I'll put you in touch with Wendy.
Don't worry, there's no nudity or dodgy stuff involved - just your tummy.

If anyone wants to see example pictures that have been contributed so far, Wendy is happy to send them to you - with the permission of the contributors!

Some arts are free to download,when you tell them the cause they'll agree.Most of them will.

I wish I could.But my mother won't allow me. She would be freaked out to see me snapping my tummy's snap and uploading it on the internet. So,Yeah.
