Weird Baby Names

What's up with Celebs and weird baby names? Did you hear that Lisa Bonet that chick who played "Denise Huxtable" gave birth to a baby boy on December 15th. She named her son Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha. Why do that to your child? What is the weirdest baby name that you have heard of or maybe you have named your child?

Well if that name doesn't take the cake, I can't imagine what will. I know there is some guy named Paris France, because he is always listed in the police beat of our local newspaper here. Not the kind of publicity somebody really wants, but what do you do.

It is not always so much as one name as it is hearing a full name and thinking that child is going to be so teased. I have a common name but it is always spelling incorrectly, imagine over and over again with a name like the above having to tell people how to spell your damn name.

I read of a woman who named her kid Muconium. Obviously she had been reading her baby name books at the same time as her instructions for first time parents and got the two mixed up.

Now what the heck was Miss Bonet thinking? That poor child will have a dickens of a time going through life explaining and spelling for everyone, a name like that. How many forms have space for all of those letters?

I love odd and unique names, but at the same time, I would never name a child something that would either get them teased or that they would have trouble with. There are some names that are unique, not embarrassing, and easy to spell that are beautiful!

I know when I saw the name of the baby I couldn't believe it. Well, I couldn't read it either. How in the world do you pronounce his name? I have a niece that has a "different" name. My brother got her name from that show with Kirsten Dunst "Bring It On". Her name is Torrance and their little boy's name is Mason. I can't find anything with Torrance written on it for her. I have to have things special made for her. Can you imagine the cost of getting Bonnet's babies name put on something!!

Some parents seem to make things up just for the sake of having something unique but they really don't give any consideration to how it will affect the child as an adult. I don't think its at all fair.

I don't understand what these parents are thinking. I'm all for unique names but obnoxiously unique names is something else entirely. I feel sorry for those kids.
