Depression
Hey girls I just need a little bit of advice please.... I don't really even know how to explain how I'm feeling but I'll give it a go. On and off for the last few years I've had stretches where I've just been really down even though nothing in particular was upsetting me. It went away for a while but now it's come back again. Everything just makes me want to burst into tears. I honestly feel like I'm going insane. I've had a few rough stages in my life (physical abuse from my ex for 2 years being the main one) but I've usually been able to be happy. I've been with my fiance for nearly 4 years now (I found a good one at last!) and about 6 months ago his 9 year old son came to live with us. (Quite scary at 24 Anyways I guess my question is, have you ever had depression? Do you think that's what I'm experiencing or am I really going insane? Thanks for reading my ramble. I'm sorry for your rough times. You are definitely dealing with a fair share of stress and you may be suffering with depression over it, stress can really do a number on you. I recommend talking to a therapist or close family member or friend for some advice. If you feel down for long periods of time it should be looked into.

Hi,Kel. I *exactly* know how you feel.. I am feeling like that now. What you could do is read this article It's great,I've tried it. One thing you should keep repeating : "I must not let this depression affect my life" . That's what I do. Believe me,It does work ,some time... Good luck in future. Oh about your ex : If he does again, call cops. ~Devina
I have been there too. It does sound like depression...but it seems like you have a lot of things on your plate too right now. Sometimes it's a stage too...and just takes a few listening ears and some words of advice to get through. More than anything, for me, what is important is that you try seeing things from a different perspective. I think what is hardest, when you fall into depression, is being able to see the bigger picture of things. At least...for me, I think I fall into this narrow-minded tunnel, where I can only see my problems and focus all these negative things in my life. I think what's important is focusing on all the positive things in your life. (And trust me if you really be objective about it...u'll find LOTS). And also to ask yourself what is depressing you? In 10 years, will you look back at this moment in time in your life and REMEMBER what it is that bothered you? Or will you think back and possibly laugh it off....
