Eyebrows

How do you girls go about getting your eyebrows touched up?

Do you go in for a wax, do you get them plucked? Do you shave them?

Personally, I do nothing to mine. I think they look just great and I always being complimented about them. They are thick and black and basically forms a nice compliment for my eyes.

I had mine waxed one time but it hurt so bad I never did it again!

I then found one of those small razors that are meant to shape your eyebrows and thought it was great until I made an error and shaved off more than I wanted to.

Now I let mine grow out.

Do the razors for your eyebrows actually work well? I've seen them before, but I've always thought it was weird to use a razor there. I guess it's gotta be less painful than plucking though! That is something I just cannot do.

I second Gizelle here. I never have done anything to trim my eyebrows. They are just fine the way they are. I really have had people asking me if I go to the beauty parlous to trim my eyebrows (",) They got their perfect shapes by nature and I am glad about it

I'm going to treat myself and get my eyebrows shaped and waxed. I've always done my own eyebrows but they never look fabulous like those on the girlies in the magazines, but then I suppose those photos are airbrushed so much that no stray hair is allowed to exist

What is the best kind of wax to use on eyebrows once you've got them into shape? Nothing I've ever used seems to work very well

Fortunately a lot of people look great without every having to touch their eyebrows.

Unfortunately I am not one of those people.

I just don't have the time (or patience) to bother with them anymore though.

I don't tend to bother with mine either - probably because they are hidden by a fringe most of the time but when a see a woman whose eyebrows are well-groomed I notice how much it improves the overall symmetry of her face/eyes. The eyes tend to look larger and lifted and you can get away with very little eye makeup if the eye area is groomed.

I'm looking forward to getting mine done - when I get the time

Don't mean to be a show off, but my eyebrows are still in their natural state, they are next to perfect. I have friends/co-workers who actually thought that I had them done (shaved, plucked or something).

Well I am happy I don't have to touch them, one less thing to be bothered with.

I don't have thick ones, but I'll pluck them myself maybe 4 times a week to keep them fine. Just something to do right before bed. Never needed to wax them.
