I am an old-fashioned girl at heart
I wish I was brave 'cos I'd go to a beauty salon and get my legs & bikini area done, but I just can't bear (no pun intended!) the thought of someone looking at my private 'bits'!! Even leg hair removal is a very personal and private thing to me and I just would be soooo embarrassed having someone do it for me!I have tried waxing and - what's that other one, not electrolosis but the one where you use like a lady shave and it HURTS!!!! but I have to say the easiest and quickest way I've found is the good old razor, although I do use a special lady's razor. I also like to use a creamy shaving cream such as The Body Shop men's shaving cream which softens the hairs and really gives a great shave.

I totally understand you, when I was much younger I had the experience where I went to the doctor and he told me to remove my clothes and lay on the bed. I refuse. I didn't think it was necessary for me to remove my clothes, so he asked me to leave. I did. I think I had a throat or a headache problem. I just didn't want to get naked in front of a strange doctor. :-)

Mindyou, it's been a while since I tried anything like that so perhaps they've improved a little. Can you recommend one of these products which smell pleasant or don't have a smell at all?

I don't like the idea of getting waxed for two reasons: it's too private and also - the paiiinnn!
![]() Luckily for me I don't have much hair growth on my legs or armpits, so it's not a problem just to shave off the little I have from time to time. The bikini area is another thing though. The best way I found til now is shaving, but that sometimes irritates the skin and the hair grows back fast. I normally try to wear underwear and bikinis that cover the area. But during summer I want to have some "margins" on the beach, so I have to shave more. Thought about it as I'm going away for the beach this weekend. If anyone has any tips, please share...
