Well I have very thick and wavy hair, so here are some of tips - 1. Visit a hairdresser to discuss hairstyles that will make your locks more mangeable. I had long layers put in to take out some of the bulk which has helped. 2. Invest in a rich conditoner (preferably a leave in one), and some hair serum. This will help to tame any unruly curls. 3. I use a wide toothed comb, and when blow drying a round brush to help maintain my style. As I mentioned in the beginning, have a chat with your hairdresser as they can recommend hair styles as well as products to help you get control of your hair. Lisa x

For brushing thick hair I'd reccomend a Tangle Teezer, it's a lot easier to brush with one and it causes a lot less damage. For frizz try a serum such as the Extra Strength one by John Frieda or my personal favourite, Girl Toys Shine Serum from Bed Head. If you straighten make sure you are using heat protection or in the long run you will be making your hair worse. As well as your usual shampoo and conditioner try a weekly conditioning treatment like Phillip Kingsley Elasticizer Extreme.
