Mean Girls

At work all the girls hate me, but one. The guys like me for the most part, but the women never gave me a chance. Two of them are nice to me to my face, but make up lies and it get's to the boss's boss. I have always been able to prove my innocence, but what about the time I won't be able too? Why do they hate me so much?

I no longer wear make-up and get dressed up nice to try in an attempt to help the abuse. It does help a little, but now my confidence is in the poop-shoot. They really are still mean, but seem to be down playing it a little bit now. What is your advice?

Firstly,I think it should be belonging on the "Advice" section.As you're mainly asking for an advice.And secondly,Just don't pretend you care.See,The more you pay attention to what they do to you,the more they enjoy.Just simply ignore them.If they continues,Just grab them and tell what your problem is.Explain that you're not my boss or stuff like that.

Girl, get some self-confidence and backbone! Why should you downplay yourself just to make some snotty bitches less snotty?? Put your makeup back on and wear what you want to look good. Those who make up lies and spread them aren't going to like you no matter what because people like that don't like themselves. Don't ever kowtow to people like that!

You girls are right. I think I will go back strong and not worry about the crap slinging. You know... mean girls may grow up, but they are still mean....they just get better at the game.

I work in a professional environment and thought that I got out of high school and these women are older than me. It is so weird how women treat one another. Isn't it hard enough that we live in a "man's world" do we REALLY have to fight eachother too?!?!

I am really glad that this forum exists, because it lets girls connect with one another and see that there are other girls who really do care about eachother. This is something all girls need. And this site is for girls of all ages some with more or less experience with life who can help eachother out as they grow and experience life. KUDOS for the girl who started this!!!

I started liking my no makeup look, so I only put lotion on my face and some mascara. Then (since it is a holiday week I wore jeans) I wore my cute jeans!!! AND I dressed in a nice top and curled the ends of my hair!!!! I felt pretty!!!!

Thats how you should feel every single day! Dont let anyone take that away from you missy. They call it self esteem, self confidence and self respect for a reason... They all belong to your SELF. No one else can take it away from you or lower it or ruin it, unless you let them.. You are in control and always have been in control of your self esteem and self confidence. Take it back and own it.

Keep your head high and remember that you're a much better woman for not retaliating and playing the same stupid games those girls are playing. Smile and enjoy life. If anyone asks how you are smile and say you are having the best day ever because of ______... That way they'll see that they aren't getting to you and find someone else to pick on or actually do some work!!
