Sick Kids

I can't help but feel sorry for her-my little one has a rotten cold and its laid her out. She can't sleep for coughing and a blocked nose, and now that meds for little ones are off the market its even tougher.

Don't you just wish you could be sick instead?

I think that any mother would do anything to make their kid's well again-no one likes seeing children sick and miserable. That said though-how would you cope then if she was well and you were sick-at least this way you aren't sick and having to chase a bundle of energy around!

Sometimes I do get the same kind of sickness that my child has, and it happens regular, so I am able to treat it effectively. Sometimes when he has a bad cough, I have a similar cough, so I may bathe in warm water with eucalyptus oil or something like that to give him some relieve.

Have you tried some vicks vapor rub on her chest and a humidifier in her room? This might help give her a little relief so maybe she can at least get some sleep.
