Bad Date Locations

There are tons of horrible date spots that I always hear about people going.

The movies is one. How am I supposed to get to know somebody when we're just sitting through a movie? It's not a bad date later on when I already know the guy, but in the beginning all I want to do is talk to them, get inside their head.

I also don't like restaurants. Not personal enough, in my opinion, and eating is never quite graceful enough for me!

I see what you are saying about the movies. I hate going out to a club on the first few dates for a similar reason. It is way too hard to talk and get to know each other if you have to yell over the music and other people there. I like going out to a meal though as long as it's not real fancy.

I personally avoid any secluded places or anywhere that I would be completely alone with the person. The beach is also a no-no for me on early dates.

Yah, places that are either too quiet or too noisy are definitely not an ideal place to date especially on one's first date. I have a bad experience in choosing a countdown in one of my recent initial date.

It is interesting that you don't like eating out or a movie, that seems to be what most guys want to do. I guess if he was a real man he would invite you over to play xbox at his apartment, I don't know how romantic that would be, but it would be funny!

I agree that movie theaters kind of kill the first date "get to know you"s. But that seems to be where most first dates happen! At least with everyone that I know. I like dinners out. That's my favorite kind of date.

I had my worst date ever it was the first one .. We just stayed in the car for more than four hours and both of us forget the real date !
