My parents got divorced when I was a child, they kept in touch but nothing special. Years after I grew up and got married, only to see them extra chummy, they remarried a year after. It's a soap opera.

Why a soap opera? I am happy for your parents. Seems as if they realised, while separated, that they were meant to be together. The marriage may be better the second time around.
