Fab eyeliner...

I've discovered a fabulous way to make eyeliner look natural. You know those highlighter pens, such as YSL, which come with an applicator and brush? Well, what do you do with the applicator when the product runs out?

I use the brush of my applicator to dip into a powder eyeliner (even loose powder brown eyeshadow works) and because the brush of the applicator is already 'soaked' in the highlighter product it easily picks up the powder.

Apply the brown eyeliner in the normal way and you will find the applicator brush gives the smoothest, sexiest finish ever!

Eventually, the brush will start to 'dry out' - but just wash it and try dipping it into normal liquid foundation, wipe some off, and start all over again with the eyeliner thing!

I love getting creative with my leftover applicators! I have never tried your way specifically, but I'm probably going to try it out!

I do use powder eyeshadow as a way to line my eyes, and when it comes to actually using it as eyeshadow, I use a liquid foundation on my eyelids to keep it on. Just be careful so that you don't get any in your eyes!

oh....i seldom do make up, but im inerested in it, can u attach some picture to show how to do that? coz i dnt fully understand the process..hehe,,,so stupid m i.

Beryl, it is nothing stupid about it I second you here! I never used anything to liven up my eyes except for the mascara and kajal. I am not sure if you girls know what a kajal is. I don't even know if its available in any other foreign countries. Here in Asia, most of the girls use it. It is a thick, black, ointment that can be used a eye liner.

i like eyeliner with a pen tip and not a brush tip. gives a hassel free application and also a smoother finish.

Try Dior waterproof mascara......it's kickass. my lashes looked 500 times thicker and gave a fab defination to my eyes. Definately worth a buy.

My mum used kajal too. Her eyes look like indian girls' eyes.
But I use revlon liquid eyeliner. It's good for me.
