Lip Plumper

Does anybody know of a lip plumper that works well? I want something that actually works, and doesn't just make my lips burn. A nice color wouldn't hurt either. Any suggestions?

I think that the one I use right now is Maybelline. It's called Volume Seduction XL. The color that I use is called Pouty Passion. It definitely works, and though it does burn for a while, you can really notice its effects.

Are you using this for a special occasion, I ask because if it's a date like to ensure you make the right impression, I think you should go and look like your normal self, so the guy see the real great person you are.

I have a natural therapy to get one's lips plumped up. Try using cinnamon oil. It will not burn and will not give you immediate results but sure will show you the best results.

Do you have Sephora somewhere near or around you place? If you do, I would suggest you to go and check them out. Most of all the lip plumpers they have got are really good.
It comparatively is a little bit pricey but worth it.

I use something called LipVolume by Transformulas. I am not sure if you can get it in the US.

It's a product which comes in a tube with a wand and is very easy to apply. The product contains something called Lipopeptides and it is this which plumps up the lips. Also, the product stimulates collagen which gives your lips a nice, just-kissed color. If you can't buy this particular product in the States, look for the ingredient of Lipopeptides, It goes on like a colorless lip gloss and it tingles slightly, but it's not unpleasant. I put it on and leave it it settle for about a minute before I put on my lipstick or gloss.

A bit of the pricey side (equivalent of about $40) but does last for a very long time.

There's no special occasion involved in the near future.

I will have a look at some of the lip plumpers that you have all recommended. We have a Sephora store near my house that I can take a look at. One of their consultants might be able to push me in the right direction too. I'll probably start with the cheapest and work my way up though!

I've never heard of using cinnamon oil.
I love getting that volumized lip look though, you said that this doesn't work immediately, so is it more of a long-term solution?

Mac!!!

Ok... I may be partial, but one of my friends who works at a MAC counter at Bloomies in Boca Raton gave me a tube of what I thought was just lip gloss; BOY WAS I WRONG! This is a God send for me. PlushGlass, my color... "Posh It Up."

I know there was one I tried be Mary Kay, but personally it was too much pain for the beauty. There are so many out there (not just lip plumpers but cosmetics in general), you'd think they would have a consumers review page or something similar for the public to review. (you know what... lets leave that for another topic....we can talk for hours about that!)

I hesitate to use many cosmetics because of all the chemicals that are placed in them now. The creator blessed me with cute thin lips that my boyfriend loves so I work with what I've got.
